Riyadh-Mubasher: A number of stocks listed on Saudi Tadawul saw buoyant trading activity during the last thirty minutes during Thursday’s session, during which more than 30% of the day’s trading volume was carried out.

Some stocks saw high volatility during the last half an hour, such as in Al Mowasat stock traded since session-start till 3:00 pm Mecca time with SAR 2.25 volatility between SAR 130-127.75. During the last half an hour, the stock volatility rose to SAR 4.25.

Al-Hamadi stock also traded with strong volatility that reached SAR 1.25, as it traded between SAR 89-75 and SAR 93.25 from start of trading till 3:00 pm Mecca time. It traded with SAR 4.75 volatility during the last thirty minutes.

Gypsum led the eleven stocks that saw active trading during the last thirty minutes, with 59.47% of its traded volume carried out during that period. It was followed by Al-Mowasat (47.55%), then Umm Al Qurra Cement (41.39%) and Astra Industrial (40.58%).

Tadawul ended Thursday’s trading 0.89% or 78.56 points lower at 8733 points. More than 258.8 million shares were exchanged in above 146,000 transactions at SAR 6.9 billion.
